Ride Revolt® 1-Year Limited Warranty

Ride Revolt
1 Year Limited Warranty

Ride Revolt covers defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months, provides replacement parts, and covers approved bike-shop repair costs under the terms below. Damage caused during delivery of your bike is also covered.

Coverage and warranty periods

This warranty applies to Ride Revolt e-bikes purchased directly from Ride Revolt or an authorized Ride Revolt retailer, and to official bike parts purchased from the “Bike Parts” page of riderevoltusa.com.

Covered product

Warranty period

Your bike and all original components

12 months from delivery to the original purchaser

Official parts purchased from our Bike Parts page

12 months from delivery of the part

Replacement parts supplied by Ride Revolt under warranty

A new 12 months from delivery of each replacement part

A replacement bike supplied under warranty

A new 12 months from delivery of the replacement bike

Original components include the frame and forks, regardless of material, and the battery, motor, controller, display, charger, brakes, suspension, wheels, lighting, and other original bike components. Separate accessory products outside our Bike Parts category are not covered by this limited warranty.

Replacing one part starts a new warranty for that part only; it does not restart the warranty on the rest of the bike. Warranty periods are extended where required by applicable law.

Defects and normal wear

Tires, tubes, brake pads, and chains are eligible for coverage. We review each claim individually to determine whether the problem was caused by a defect or normal riding wear. Brake pads worn down through use are not covered. A braking component that fails because of a manufacturing defect is covered, including approved repair or replacement labor.

Ordinary wear, routine maintenance needs, and damage caused by external events are not manufacturing defects. A part is not automatically excluded simply because it is a wear item.

Ownership transfers

Coverage may transfer an unlimited number of times during the applicable warranty period. Each new owner must provide the original order number and the original purchaser’s name. A transfer does not restart the warranty period. No separate warranty registration is required.

How to make a warranty claim

Email contact@riderevoltusa.com with the original order number, original purchaser’s name, bike model, and a description of the problem. Include photos or video if available. If you purchased through an authorized retailer, that retailer can help submit your claim.

We will review the issue and may request additional information, troubleshooting, or a shop diagnosis to identify the cause and appropriate repair. For approved claims requiring replacement parts, Ride Revolt normally supplies and ships the parts directly to you. Shipping is subject to the rules below.

If a needed replacement part is unavailable from Ride Revolt, or you prefer to purchase it elsewhere for immediate availability, you may request approval to buy a compatible part from another seller. We must approve the part and its cost in writing before you purchase it.

If you need a bike shop to diagnose a covered issue or install or repair a covered part, obtain our written approval of the shop’s estimate before work begins. The shop may use parts supplied by Ride Revolt or an approved outside seller. Obtain updated approval before incurring costs beyond an approved estimate.

For approved shop work or outside-part purchases, email a receipt identifying the parts or work and the amount paid. We will issue the approved reimbursement within one business day after receiving the receipt. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.

Repair costs and reimbursement

For a covered defect, we cover replacement parts and reimburse the full cost of bike-shop installation and diagnostic work approved by Ride Revolt in writing before the work begins. There is no fixed dollar limit on approved installation costs. Applicable sales tax and shipping on approved outside-part purchases are covered, subject to the shipping rules below.

Approved shop work and outside-part purchases are paid by the customer and reimbursed by Ride Revolt. Original purchasers are reimbursed through a partial refund on the original order to its original payment method. Subsequent owners receive payment through PayPal or direct bank transfer. A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

The approval and receipt requirements govern reimbursement under this limited warranty. Having work performed by an independent shop does not, by itself, void the remaining warranty. Damage caused by improper work may be excluded.

Parts purchased from other sellers

If a covered Ride Revolt part is defective, we will reimburse a compatible replacement purchased from another seller when we do not have the part available or you prefer to obtain it elsewhere for immediate availability. The replacement part and its cost require our written approval before purchase. Approved installation and diagnostic costs are also covered.

An outside replacement part does not receive an ongoing Ride Revolt warranty. If that part later becomes defective, its subsequent repair or replacement is not covered by this limited warranty, even if Ride Revolt reimbursed its purchase. Any separate seller or manufacturer warranty, and any rights required by law, remain available. Installing the outside part does not by itself cancel coverage on the bike’s other covered components.

When repairs do not resolve a problem

For a covered Ride Revolt bike, we will make up to three approved repair attempts for the same unresolved problem by replacing defective parts. An attempt means a completed repair and evaluation of the result. Different problems have separate repair attempts; three unrelated issues do not trigger a whole-bike replacement.

If the same covered problem remains unresolved after the third attempt, you may choose an exchange for a new bike or a refund. If a replacement is out of stock, you may choose a refund instead of waiting. For the original purchaser, a full-bike refund returns the entire amount originally paid for the bike.

The defective bike must arrive back at Ride Revolt before we issue its replacement or refund. The three-attempt process and return requirements do not delay or limit any earlier or different remedy required by applicable law.

Returning a defective bike or part

Contact us for return authorization and shipping instructions before sending back a defective bike or part. Ride Revolt pays the shipping cost of an approved warranty return.

You must securely box the bike for return. If you no longer have the original box, we will provide a replacement box. Normally, you take the packaged bike to the designated carrier. If you cannot transport it to the nearest carrier, request pickup and we can arrange it.

Exclusions and permitted use

This limited warranty does not cover:

Ordinary wear and tear, routine maintenance, or replacement needed because a part has worn out through normal riding.

Damage caused by crashes, collisions, abuse, neglect, stunt riding, racing, or use beyond the bike’s intended operating limits.

Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, storage, maintenance, repair, or operation inconsistent with the applicable instructions.

Damage caused by incompatible parts or accessories, drilling, welding, or other modifications. The mere use of an outside part or repair shop does not automatically void coverage.

Water damage caused by heavy-rain riding, submersion of the motor, flooding, or other improper water exposure. Corrosion or oxidation caused by improper exposure or storage is excluded.

Theft or loss, and damage caused by external events such as fire or lightning, or by improper use of an electrical source. Cosmetic damage caused after delivery is excluded unless it results from a manufacturing defect.

Separate accessory products outside our Bike Parts category, and subsequent defects in replacement parts purchased from other sellers.

Light-rain riding is permitted; heavy-rain riding and motor submersion are not. A water-exposure exclusion applies to damage caused by that exposure. Riding in light rain does not, by itself, cancel the warranty.

Speed adjustments do not, by themselves, exclude the bike from warranty coverage. Other exclusions still apply to damage caused by misuse, improper work, or other excluded causes.

Earlier purchases and your legal rights

This policy applies to eligible past and future purchases. Coverage is measured from the relevant delivery date shown above; applying this policy to an earlier purchase does not, by itself, restart its warranty period.

For earlier purchases, this policy does not reduce any greater warranty coverage or rights promised at the time of purchase. If a prior warranty provides greater protection, that protection remains in effect.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights, implied warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law requires a different remedy, timing, or allocation of costs, that law controls.
